Seven essentials of make-up
Wednesday, March 3, 2010
We all go to stores and find fascinating make up products that we want to pick up and just hoard in our vanity cases, whether or not we use them ever. But what if we are going out and don't want to lug around huge vanity cases?
So, here are few essentials that will be sufficient to carry you through the day -
A base or foundation: This product is surely worth spending a little time for selecting the right shade that suits your colour. The best base just blends into your skin giving it a smooth, supple and natural look.
A concealer: Late night parties are always fun but they leave us with the most dreaded dark circles beneath our eyes. A concealer hides those, making us look as fresh and pretty as ever. We can also hide the blemishes and discoloration with a concealer.
Eye shadow: For that flattering look, paint your eye lids with some lovely shades which go with your dress colour and highlight the outer edge of your eyelid with a contrasting shade to create a dramatic look. Then just wait and watch as men fall all around you with just the blink of your eye!
A blush: How about giving a little colour to your cheeks? Keep it as natural as possible, sticking to pinks and peaches, merging the colour well into your cheeks. Sweep the upward from the apple of your cheek and towards your temple for that barely there but beautiful blush.
Lip colour: This feature of a women's face has to outshine everything. Dark outlined lips were in 90s. So just focus on glamming up your lips with glossy lipsticks. What's even better is the nude look that you can create with tinted lip gloss. And add to your glam quotient by using newly launched lipgloss with diamante shine. So pucker up, girl!
Kohl: It's said, 'Let the eyes do the talking!' So have them speak with an even thin layered application of kohl on the inner rim of your lower eyelid that will shape your expressive eyes.
Mascara: Even though most women don't consider mascara as a make-up essential, it opens up your eyes giving you a brighter look. So, on the days when your eyes feel droopy, mascara is your saviour.
So now you know how to enhance that beauty of yours and let the world around appreciate the same.
